Projects Largest parts collection in the world....??

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by ChrisBlattie, May 6, 2010.

  1. Chris is a good guy to deal with, bought some taillights from him, he took care of me & didn't rake me over the coals & shipped em out quick! I would buy parts from him again!

  2. have a date for an HAMB open house?

  3. Chris, How's it going? I looked at your site. May I make a suggestion. You should have a sections dedicated to early Fords. Since the majority of folks here on the Hamb seem to be into Fords it would be great is you had sections for :
    Model T's
    Model A's
    32 Ford
    33- 34 Ford
    35-40 Ford
    41-48 Ford
    49-59 Ford
Youy get the idea. You could do it for other make as well.
Maybe your still working out the details. Good luck

WOW what a mother load! I am sure you gave this thought already but wouldn't it be easier to hire a independent trucker to haul your parts? With the economy like it is I would think someone out there would could do it reasonable for ya. Congratulations on you life changing business.

What is the current status of all of this.
I'm interested in trim and interior panels as well as other parts for 1965 Ford Galaxie or XL.

    Thanks Richard

Just a bit of a plug for these guys business. I bought a bumper from them on Ebay and it was exactly as described and the reserve price was fair. I keep them on my favorite sellers list now to keep up with new listing. Thanks guys.

This beats the 10+ tractor trailors full of chevy parts from the northeast (Mass?) years ago.

  14. Thats better than winning the lottery!

  15. WOW....what a story. Ive been texting Chris while reading this story and like I told him, my wife would have divorced me for even mentioning that I wanted to buy that kind of a stash, lol, well, she probably wouldnt have, but you get the picture.
Thats a lot to undertake, when I had a 6 car and a 2 car garage filled with parts, even that was hard for me to keep on top of. I cant imagine going into an endeaver like this, but it sure would be FUN. Id retire from my job, and like Chris, would be doing just as he has. Good Luck Chris, and Thank God this stuff wasnt crushed by the would be aires.....

I have a '57 pickup (no eng) and a few '47-'53 AD's I would like to sell, parts only from AD's.

I want rear fender skirts and a windshield visor for my '53 chevy AD pickup.

No pics. It's all loaded into semi trailers. It's a brother to the guy we got these parts from and there's mostly Cadillac Parts in this collection. He's passed away and the 3rd brother is the one trying to sell them to me. I know what it would take to do a project like this and there's no way I can do it myself.
