Engine in and out a few more times.

The engine builder in L.A. sold me an engine with mismatched heads, so I had to fix that. Found a great old shop in Austin TX that specializes in 55-57 Chevy's that sold me some good heads. (Jerry Dixon' Automotive)

Since I don't have a great paint gun, I somehow always end up with a fair amount of orange peel.
Colorsanding usually takes care of that issue.
I start with 1000 then 1500, then buff everything with three different compounds, to get the paint shiny again.
I use the DA on big straight panels.

Thanks Ryan, I'm getting pretty close to setting that body back on the frame, maybe I can get you to lend a hand.

    Lust-worthy..

I'm not sure I'll be able to handle seeing this thing assembled.

  15. WOW! I've seen the color on IG, but it looks WAY better on my computer.

  16. Man this is beautiful! Did you pie cut the cowl and stretch the sides out to match the frame?

(I'm going back and forth whether to pinch and bob the horns of my 29 phaeton or take a similar approach to yours.)
