    Sib, the engine mount bases look great! Was wondering if the OEM looking block mounts are the bent-tab variety, that solved GM's "loose engine" issue in the early 70's?

    Yes they are the tabbed mounts, and doc, I do still have the orange Chevy. Just fired her up yesterday.

    Isn't this the one you were building for your 8 year old? Now go and park it in the garage till he's old enough to drive it ! He must be 11 by now so it won't be too long a wait !
