Folks Of Interest The Tacoma Toppers Car Club

I was looking for some information regarding this club here in Tacoma.
I don't believe the club is still active here to my knowledge. I've only seen one gentleman wearing a club coat at swap meet / car show. Haven't had the chance to talk to him. I think some of the clubs were related to certain High Schools in Tacoma, maybe I'm wrong... Steads (Stadium High) Demonos ??? Just interested in some of our local car club history.

Hey Paul, Demonos were a Lincoln I believe your correct.
I think there was some split in that club ( Dirty 30?)
Don't know about that. I know the Steads are active again, hopefully

Only thing I know about this club is that they had a cool looking plaque .....

I think that you need to get a hold of Dick Page in Tacoma. He just posted 176 pictures of Toppers cars on Facebook yesterday plus he is a wonderful historian of the area.

 

Dick (Rain Guy here on the HAMB) he can tell you ANYTHING about ANY old cubs in Tacoma ... he was in most of them ... lol
