    That was a local Doctors 5 window coupe. He had a fused spine and had to drive standing up! Used the old Ford well into the 1950s.Weird eh?

    Flying Caduceus - early 60's jet powered land speed record vehicle.
    Best speed reportedly 355 mph when others were heading north of 400.
    Weighed about 6000lb, powered by GE J-47 jet. Built by Dr Nathan Ostich, Ray Brock and Allan Bradshaw.

    (Edit - I originally tried to load a copy of an old ad I found - was told the file was too big and it didn't load, so went off looking for other stuff to share. Looks like both things made it to this post. Oh well).
