  6. Those are some beautiful wheelcovers and they would look sweet on your Chebbie.

I've heard of people attaching 15" diameter hubcaps onto 16" trim rings as kind of an adapter of sorts. Just a thought.

Lyons caps are very pretty but hard to come by in good shape, and that car looks too nice for a driver-quality set.

I used a set of adapters so that I could run Lyons on my 48. I can post a close up pic when I get home if you want.

How about 16" Moon Racing disc--- the screw-on type, from Speedway.

  12. Or......you should be able to find a set of the wide chrome trim rings that use the small
hubcap that you have. Ebay is usually a good source for such items. However, I just
checked the 'bay and not anything Chevy specific on just now (7-11-14). The wide rings
    look generally like these.

  13. ..........Hey, to each his own but, I think these would be the worst choice for this car.

Lyons would be the natural choice. I just keep my eyes on the various classifieds and auction sites and have pieced together a few sets over the last couple years, just buying ones and twos at a time...

Another lower-cost, and easier to find, option would be 1941-49 Buick wheel covers, they were all 16"s until 1950.
