I'm disappointed that we haven't been able to find this car yet.

If we don't find it pretty soon someone is going to have to recreate it.

Let's find this wonderful piece of history!

  5. Hey Dan been following the tread it take me back to a time when i found an old C/Gas 57 210 Hardtop, payed 150.00 dollar's for it, got it home and then what did i do, it had the engine setback in it, so i made the dummest move and replaced the dash and firewall and put the engine back to stock, then to top it off sold the car. Still kick my A$$ for doing that. Well looks like the hunt may have come to an end, but i do hope the car can be found. Totally cool idea and build, weren't the 60 and 70's the time to be involved with hot roddin, drag racing, the street curisin. The Days of Old Memory's. It's What Made use Who we Are in my Book.

Are you saying you had Dan old 57? His was a 2 door post. You were saying your was a hardtop, or were you just meaning it had a steel roof and not a convertable? Just curious.

We believe you. Its just that this car is a piece of hot rod history. Can you at least give Dan some particulars so he can quit searching.

  19. Can't you guys understand I posted about a car I had when I was in high school, not about Dan's car!!!!!!!! I was just saying that a car can disappear and end up becoming something else. Dan's car could still be out there, I was telling about a car I had, WHICH WAS NOT DAN"S CAR. Take some time and read the post before you jump to conclusion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not to be an ass, but, why doesn't someone step up to the plate and clone it? The AG coupe has got to be about the most cloned car ever and its not really unique? So it would be a compliment for Dan's unique ride, yes?

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I took a look at your original post and it seemed like you saying "the hunt was over" was implying that you once had Dans car and then sold it after making some mods. Sorry for getting it wrong. Hey at least every post keeps this thread bumped back up. We good? tommyd.

  27. Cool tommyd, I just wanted to correct everyone. Dan's car is a piece of history and for some reason it only take someone to miss understand and then the hunt is messed up. I was just pointing out the I had some history and with what I did to the car I urined the whole aspect of that car. It was local history, but it is still the same. Hope everyone understands, sorry if I confused people with my post.
