i cant wait. this race is very cool. we are all very fortunate to have two cool events so close to one another.
What a wonderful idea real drag racing without all the electronic stuff. This is what it's all about. Jimbo
Wow, the new HAMB will take some getting used to! Heads Up is fast approaching though! Maybe by then we'll all have this figured out!
Could someone post up a few details regarding the minibike drags? Namely, can my 13 yr. old boy run his Lil' Indian, or is he too young?
Ok, that's fine either way. Thanks for checking. I guess the same rules apply to passengers in the cars as well. He was too young to take a pass down the track last year too. He's going to have to wait until 2017.
5pm on Friday for Test and Tune. Gates Saturday at 9am. Tech at 10am. I believe they will open the lanes up shortly thereafter. Drivers meeting at 11am at the Sunoco sign. Mini Bikes at noon. Lanes open up at 1 again. Eliminations at 5pm.
It's unfortunate we only had Friday to attend. Paid $30 to enter, only to watch the few pre '65 vehicles there race (maybe a dozen?) and mainly all '80's and newer race. Not what was stated, not what we expected. Stayed until 9:30 hoping it would get better, but ended up leaving pretty disappointed. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Sat. was a great time. The Czars pulled it off again. The gasser nats. tied in works great. Already looking foward to next year.
Way cool day at the races, thanks Czars, our club brother Bill Astrouski won the 14.00 and slower class in Big Vics 1930 model A Tudor. Nice!
