With those new 5W bodies available in whole or parts...? Getting a title might be stretch in some states. I see it does have "some" frame left. You'd be in STUD status if you got it home and made it whole again. It may not be as bad as it looks in the pics once home and hosed off. Just sayin...

Since it's a '32, it is not beyond saving...but it would sure be interesting to weigh the patch panels as they go on and compare to total body weight!
I love that grill shell just the way it is...

once you replace all the damage and rust, how much of the original 32 remains?

A fellow Mainah find...! too bad it snowed last night, it might rust a little... but we're used to a little rust! Some of you southerners are just spoiled, what's a rust bubble...or two... or thousands of them connected together!?

There are some people on here who could knock that grill shell back into shape in an afternoon......body 'd take a bit longer though.

  7. take it to Brookville, there might be enough to melt down and re-stamp a roadster and it would be real Henery steel

  11. Yeah I was thinking of this recent post also since he just primed the body. Look at post#1,#12 with what he started with, it was in rougher shape.

Then look at post #763, If that's not a kick in the ass I don't know what is!!

  14. I've got the remains of a Fordor that would be helpful in resurrecting this - that way, you'd have even more Henry steel!

are the rescue plans being formulated?

even if it is too much for you right now, it needs to be rescued and it's deterioration halted for the when the right time and/or person to come along.

with every passing year the point we see as too far gone gets lower and lower for these desirable models. it just needs to be kept in it's current condition until it is a bit above that line and it will get rebuilt.

Hodad, if nothing else, there are lots of parts to harvest. Is the 4-cyl. anywhere to be found? There is gold there. Good luck.

Neat, reminds me of the 32 tudor sedan body I found about 10 years back. I did not know what it was worth so bought it for $300 and then found out what parts like interior trim cost. It was a decent body but at the time could not afford to built it so sold it for what I thought was a huge price of $2950. The old bent up frame would sell for probably $1000 much less the body but this was my baptism into old cars.

  28. Looks better now than when you found it. Good luck with it. JW

So cool looks like you had to bolt a rear under it to get it out?
