Hot Rods 1939-46 chevy pickup hood

hey guys will a 1946 chevy pickup hood fit a 39 chevy pickup

 

I doubt it,a 40 would be much closer.

If you have access to a 41-6 hood try it first and see how close it is.

 

I have both 39 and 46 Chevrolet Trucks and the hoods are not interchangeable. 39 and 40 are same and 41 to early 47 are interchangeable with each other. 40 to early 47 dashs are the same. Think that doors are interchangeable 39 to 47!
