Brings back great memories. When the Maryland state police updated their fleet, there were a bunch of these in Epps Motors used car lot all lined up. Some were painted in odd colors others just had the seal primered over. All were 327 300 and 3 on the tree. All were 2 door sedans. Most of them got a 4 speed as soon as they got home. This was before the 350 trans.
Big fan here. Post, sbc, 4gear, w/cross ram to boot, hell yeah! With steep gears that woulda been a headhunter of the era. Sweet.

Ihave to brag a little, most people think young guys arnt interested in old cars anymore , but this one is , this is my sons 62 , he is about as big a car nut as you are going to find and he is only 24 , he has a chopped model a , this 62 , a henry j gasser that he just got , a 68 ss 427 impala ,a 73 z/28 with a 454 doug nash 5 speed , a 71 lt 1 4 speed corvette, a 8o z /28 , he works hard and buys every thing and works on every thing hiself . my daughter is 22 and has a model roadster pickup that she cruises in she won the hooters car show here last weekend . my youngest is 16 she wants a pickup but she said i had to put flames on it when we get it sorry ,but i had to brag while i had a chance , ihave three great kids and a great wife

Looks like it was fawn beige - I've had 3 61's that color and a couple hot rods too. The x-frame cars are great!.
