Projects Bomber Seats

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Sacramento Speed Shop, May 26, 2014.

  1. Just wanted to share a Bomber seat I made..I'm currently making a matching pair of the same seat for a customer in California. I have some other wild ideas for the next ones I'm making but I'm going to keep those in my head for now:((((

Kind of a dry run.. this is the first one I built, I had the idea in my head for a while and building this one gave me a good chance to work out some of the kinks with the patterns and such which I will be using for the next ones I build from now on. Also different rivets will be in order

Very cool. Are the rivets set from inside our outside cant tell? I'm building a set and I'm setting them from the outside so the mushroom is in the inside of the seat... Just wondering very nice craftsmanship!

  18. IMG_20140801_133005.jpg Here is a set I'm currently working on. They will be powder coated chrome and I will be using copper rivets..also diamond cut outs in the center with copper behind them IMG_20140801_133005.jpg

You could probably polish them and achieve close to the same result as powder coating them.
