Added some wide whitewalls and had the grill and bumpers painted a nice cream color. 1964 C10 Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
It's amazing what a little paint in a contrasting color can do,the proof is in the photos. Huge improvement in the looks department! HRP
Flat black is soooo cool! Why would you do that? Just kiddin, the cream really breaks it up and, makes look a ton better. It's amazing what just little things do to make a vehicle look better and totally different.
I like it. My wife has a 63 and I've been trying to talk her into painting the tailgate letters white. A little goes a long ways.
In all black it looks sinister....the kinda truck that would be saying "WTF get the F outta my way " .With the white it looks more friendly ....the kinda truck that would be saying , " excuse me, would you mind pulling over to let me pass". I like the first one!
I was about to say the same thing but was also thinking a flaked or candied roof may also do the trick..
First version, with black walls, looks like what a truck of that period looked like. A utility vehicle. I do like the white bumper and grille, but the WWW's seem out of place. Maybe a sweet panel, Watson style paint job would yield the desired impression. Those trucks had a ton of style for the time. Good luck with it.
A white, metal-flaked roof has been discussed and may possibly be in the forecast. Thanks for the input and compliments, everyone. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Just gonna love it the way it is for a while. If anything, headers will be next. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
