Take back Central AZ

ratso glad to have your story, Central was a blast wild and crazy. There were some real serious cars up there, and a great place to be Thursday thru Saturday night. Would really like to see it happen again, a lot of kids don't know what they are missing today. 12.30s was dang good back then, that's when it was all about the muscle you could pull out of the motor, sounds like you did a good job. ( Nick ) what stage?

Sounds cool, Mopar Man James was there also. It was the maiden voyage of his new Duster, and I guess he won his class. Cool bro, have a good one.

 

We were under the tent with three of Dave's Hemi cars, it was pretty cool. I think I'll bring the Comet out this week.

 

Got the lighting sorted out on the Merc' and Luke is FWD-ing the Gp, we'll see you at DQ around 7:30 fellas...

 

I was outside the tent, across from the Ramchargers, with my Hemi Coupe.

 

Mopacltd we ended up at Lennys. Speaking of that guys do we like it better or what do we think. Won't be there next week, will be at the drags. Everybody have a great week. that 31 was cool.

Made a few laps between 7 and 9 and saw one guy out with a flamed out Kamero, so there was that....

 

Nick, you ever heard of Jack's Trains in Glendale? I'm thinking of checking them out Tuesday.

 

I know there are a couple of train stores in downtown Glendale, but haven't been over that way in a couple years. The railroad stuff I usually play with is 1.5" scale and has to be scratch built.

 

I'm into HO scale stuff.

 

Mary and I made a pass last night about 7:00 / 7:30 in the T-Bird. Saw the flamed Camaro, that's about all.

We have two Mustangs both Silver, I figure that they should do pretty good. Gotta love that drag racing. Why don't we all meet out there would be cool

Hi Chuck O', No not yet. It's still collecting dust.Haven't had any extra change or time really to work on it lately. How are you guys doin?

 

Nick tell him and Dave both open time runs start at noon for us, until 5pm or so. Then we will start eliminations for the Flathead/Inliners around 6 pm, If he goes out of the race he can still make passes.Everyone that was there last year will be back plus one new car. Wayne luddington is plannin on bringing his old Dragmaster Chassis rail with the flathead in it, Wonder if we could set up a race between him and Lowell sometime in the afternoon just for fun??

 

Still nothing happening up here, Rich.

 

We'd love to send the car down as many times as they'll let us Rich. Set it up!

Hello Guys, I stopped by Dairy Queen this past Saturday (17 May) around 8:30. I hung around for about an hour. Didn't see a single soul. What time do you guys usually head out? Thinking about coming down this Saturday. Anybody planning on being there?
