Here is the beginning of what I hope to be a long happy build. Like everybody I have financial limitations as I go, so this won't be fast or easy, but I plan to enjoy every minute of it. It all started with a 2800 mile trip to meet RoadFarmer and load up this beauty. 4 days on the road, 10 or so hours a day in the seat. It was very much worth the trip.

Truck is home, working away at it slowly when I can. Seat removed, hood removed, fuel tank removed, motor and trans removed, passenger door opened, motor about half torn down. I managed to acquire a 1981 pontiac firebird subframe from a v8 turbo car dirt cheap. I also managed to land a '77 firebird posi-axle for next to nothing. Slowly but surely... more updates to come.

I was lucky to find a sub frame so cheap ($100). Working my way to the install of that, and motor disassembly in my spare time. I have to save a few more bucks before I can move forward.

  11. 2800 miles is one hell of a trip to get a project car, cool that you did it.
