Thanks. If I ever get off my butt and finish the metal work on the cab I'll paint it single-stage gloss black.

I'm doing the same. I did my rims in PPG Concept 9000 black. They looked so good I painted the rear end with the same paint. That may be overkill but it's very tough paint and cleans easy.

Cool. I think I was looking at PPG concept ss DCC 9300. Pretty affordable.

Did the cab corners today. Sorry no pics; I ruined my last phone by filling it with metal shavings, so I'm not carrying the new one in the garage. I'll try to shoot some updates soon.

Thanks guys, I know I've been slacking. It used to be I'd update once per week, sometimes once per day!

The cab is still off the frame. I did the cowl patch panels this past weekend but haven't done much this month besides that.

Roof wood is ready to go in. Body shop basically lined up.

    I'll take some pictures soon.

Here's how the cab looks as of tonight.

    ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1399252415.504553.jpg

The cowl patch panels are both done.

And the cab corners. Yes, the back of cab looks like a walnut.

I finished the inner and outer patch panels on the passenger door.

Still got the outer panel on the driver's door to finish, then it's on to the roof!

Update. Got most of the wood kit installed for the roof. Doing lots of little stuff, but did manage to fill the gas tank hole and got my windshield put together.

More to do on the roof. A little left on the floor. After that the sanding begins.

Looks great dude! On the roof pieces above the door, did you weld them on? I'm doing that to mine but I wasn't sure how they would turn out..

I'll take some pictures. Basically I nailed in the wood kit but plan to weld in the rain gutters and visor.

Dropped the bed at the painter, working like hell to get the cab ready. After I drop all the body stuff off I'm going to fire the engine and break-in the cam, will probably video when I do.

    Sorry no pics.

Well the paint is taking longer than planned but I'm not ready for the cab just yet anyway. Still need to break in the cam and finish a bunch of little stuff.

My list never gets smaller, how do you guys do it?

The motor looks real good. The cab and paint are going nicely as well.

Go man, go. Just keep banging away at it. Eventually the list disappears.

This makes me even more anxious to get my 30-31 truck cab in a few weeks! Great work, and thank you for all the detail pictures and descriptions of what you have done! A great inspiration for sure.
