Event Coverage 5th Annual Texas Nostalgia Nationals 5/17/14

The week has come for the 5th Annual Texas Nostalgia Nationals! Weather is looking great and we couldn't be any more happy to get some nostalgia drag racing in. If you have never been its time to get out and have some fun with is this weekend. Race is located at Yello Belly Dragstrip in Grand Prairie, Tx just a short 10 minute drive from downtown Dallas. Saturday the gates open at 10 am and time trials running till 1:00pm. Racing should kick of no later then 2pm. We will have classes just about for anyone so don't be scared to get out on the track and have some fun. Bringing the 55' stude for some drag racing fun. Won on sunday at the Little River race. First race I won in 38 yrs!

We'll be there, hopefully in this wagon ive been workin on the past few months. Website says 9 & qualifying at 10. Just a heads up, so the gates dont get flooded early.

Thanks, Skot, for the loan of the gas to finish the final round! I was on fumes and would have felt really foolish to run out of gas halfway down the track...especially if I was winning!
