Well, i needed to cure an out of round tire so while I was at it i also changed the wheels and all the tires.... added some badger scoops and voila a new look to the coupe Im keeping the old wheels and will change the bad tire, that way ive got two cars on one. Its good that slicks are legal here in CO, and we get next to no rain (Unlike the 39 years I spend in UK!) Im loving the new look, its re-energized me into the coupe as ive been using the roadster most of the time recently! Anyway, here it is VS Old look.... (From when in UK)
Not a fan of slicks on the street but that looks great that way. It doesn't rain much here in the middle of Wa state either but I have spun out once with the 48 running bias N-50's on the back and hitting standing water on the freeway.
I have been running RADIR slicks on the street for years and years. Just be carefull and mindfull of them and you will be fine!
Man,that car looks totally different,I like the chrome rims and black walls,,and getting rid of that air cleaner was a major improvement. That car is the cats arse! HRP
Thanks all , What I really need now is a 471 Blower for the caddy engine, and some headers with cut outs Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Your coupe is a classic, whatever look you go for with it. I like what you have done here, and those air scoops are much better!
Now here is a guy who went hard core change along with Version 7. Looks cool and I like the big and littles.
Such a kick ass car. I didn't think it could get any better but I do like the changes... A Lot! Here's another shot of the engine pre-changes. Makes me want to lick the screen!
Very cool.... love the paint shining on the firewall, you can really see the finish, great color and great looking ride...... you did good son.
I missed this month, but get there a few times but it's a trek from Ft Collins Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
