weather looks good. Big Daddy Don Garlits will be there signing. Roger Lindamood is the Marshall of the event. Great Lakes Gassers will be out in force. Lots of funny cars as well.

 

Iam #4 registered.Down to the wire as normal here.Staying in Dundee.Just fixed my brakelights that the kind sheriff deputy let me know about while I was out on the first toot yesterday.He could have given me tickets for no left turn,brakelights,no front plate and running a 26 NY plate out back.He just wanted to make sure I was insured etc,nice guy.Said just get those lights working,not all the other cops are so good about such things.Ah the start of another year in the open air.And yes it will be dry!!!!! I really want to see some FEDs

 

Will be there with the 41 Ford - just going through the spring preparations !

 

Will have the buick rat there and be racin the rotten orange, glad its finaily summer

 

I'll be there with the Safari if it stays running.Finally consented to do a tuneup after 10 years.I must be getting old;it's harder and harder to crawl into the engine compartment to yank the distributor.

 

I will be there, wheels up!

 

Racing with the great lakes gassers if my back problems improve.

 

Me and my ol heap might make it if it doesn't rain too much. If it does I might drive modern and hang in the pit with some real hoodlums.

Well I've been crankin for weeks now tying to get Lil Beast straightened out be there...but twp weekends back the boxer had her 11 pups and i was the mid wife....don't lose any by sure killed tree weekend...14 hours time deliver then all....so if i come it will be fiat-less it's looks like.....sucks cause i was looking at it as being one of the big events of this summer
But on the up side, things seem be coming together fairly well....we'll see by Friday for sure...

Man.....been working like a dog. Out of town till Thursday and a big meeting Friday. With the shit weather we have had I haven't been in a real hurry to get anything rolling. Fired up the 61 before I left...gonna play it by ear.

Looking forward to seeing everybody there. Looks like it's going to be cool let's just hope it's dry.

My plan is to drive down in the C.C. Coupe. I'll bug out a little early to make it up to Grand Blanc to catch my daughter in the finals of her softball tournament.

I'm excited to finally be going this year, never been. Wish my car wasn't broken, have to hitch a ride with a brother.

If I get motivated tonight may drive the F100 it is missing a few small pieces. If not i will be on the bike or D/D.

How late will it be open on Sat? I'm booked through the morning, but might be able to get there in the afternoon?
