Technical 346 flathead

Hey I have a 1948 346 flathead and I have a few questions. First what oil should I be using and any suggestions on what carburetors can be used ? It runs now and I do plan on doing a rebuild when I save the cash.

I have a 1948 346 Cadillac flathead v8 does anyone know what carburetors I can run on this motor. ? Any and all help needed and welcomed

There is loads of knowledge here-search Cadillac flathead.Also contact 38 Flattie and fiftyv8.
