I am a 70 year old guy that has had a passion for hot rods since I was a kid. My 33 is the 5th hot rod that I've built. Prior to this string of cars, I was a VW mechanic, consequently, I have a whole bunch of hot VW's in my history. My list of rods started with a 27 T track roadster, followed by a second track roadster, also a 27 T. Next was a 35 Buick model 40. Then came a 47 Ford Tudor. Lastly, my coupe. I started it in 1999 and finished it about 2 1/2 years later. Unfortunately, I think it will be my last. Arthritis has slowed me down an awful lot. I still work on it but I don't think I could do another ground up.
