    I read about them, had subscriptions to magazines,built models, hung posters,never thought it possible to own one on the east coast. I saw one round a corner in the early 80's and realized I could do it too. I bought the Chevy out of a cow field in Texas before Fat fenders were cool, so it didn't cost too much. It was shot . About after I was getting it together, the cover of Street Rodder had a coupe like mine in the same color and was advocating Fat fenders. Just like that, I owned a cool ride.
