I grew up with my father drag racing a sling shot dragster in the 60's & 70's. My real desire has been hot rods. I have learnt the hard way when it comes to building my own ride, but experience is a wonderful thing and I don't make the same mistake twice-it's too costly and I look dumb doing it wrong a second time. I am keen on all things hot/street rods and anything that has been completed by the owner for the owner. Rod shops are good and we need the good ones to stay good, but there's nothing like doing it yourself. It took me over 10 years to build my first rod, and I drove the wheels off it - til it was totalled. Now I'm doing it all over again but this time I've learnt a thing or two - so watch this space.
