I put pertronix in my 61 Cadillac and 63 thunderbird.. got the pertronix coil too though, so I had no issues. Both fire up and run just fine.
Problem solved. Or you can horse trade on craigslist.
If you're just building something to play around with I'd just fix that one.. if you got some of those sheet metal butt welding clamps you could...
