High School, Lost in the 50's...con't: inspired By Bro's Carl & Bob Austin, builders of possibly the hottest , neatest koolest '27 T bucket roadster known as the Rochester Rod, powered by Merc' flathead, especially after they whipped our ( bunch of high school kid's) '32 Plymouth 3 window coupe, powered by Yet another flathead Merc, when Watkins Glen, NY ( mid 1950's ) held drag races... continuing... Drag raced at Englishtown, NJ , 1956 Chevy 2dr Post, the first year E-town became operational... Next year (2015) makes it an EVEN Half Century--- back to the future: Anyone who's on the nite-time cruise circuit in NJ , has no doubt seen Tom's Dogs, a '48 Ford Pickup painted "GRINCH"- Green with Full house Merc, been licensed and on-the-road for 31 'plus' years ...YIKES ! ! !
