I own and run a business here in NZ creating personalised clothing for motorsport race teams, hot rod shops, speedways, car clubs, magazines etc. Have been a car nut all my (born in '71) life. Also write for a few NZ and Australian car mags. Wasn't in to hot rodding at all. It seemed to be all about perfect paint and perfect bodies, and miles of billet. Then a few years ago when I stumbled upon the US mags Car Kulture Deluxe, and Ol Skool Rodz. Now I can't get enough of it. NZ is going a little billet crazy at the moment, but fortunately there is a growing number of traditional style rods and customs appearing.
