I've always enjoyed mechanics, built my own bicycles when I was a kid, always do my own maintenance.
I bought my brother's Fairlane for the engine and bought the truck to receive the engine. Couldn't stand the thought of getting rid of either one. so I started rebuilding them both. The Comet was just too cool looking to pass up.
The more I work on the old stuff, the more fun it is.
