I've been mostly into classic trucks since I was a kid. Mostly because my dad had a 66 chevy when I was born. And later got a 56 which he still has. I got my first when I was 19 and at 22 got my current truck, a 58 apache. I started restoring it by replacing the bucket seats that were secured with bailing wire with a factory seat, replacing some of the trim and after breaking a kingpin put on a 80s fire bird front clip. After that I ran out of $ and time got a new job and a wifeso it sat for about 8 years . Earlier this year I started working on it again. I relocated the gas tank to the bed, put on a master cylinder with a booster, re routed the exhaust, got the motor running, replaced all the door glass, put on a stock rear bumper & tail lights, wheel vintiqes series 10 red/ chrome wheels with tall bullet caps and wide white walls. Next step is to rebuild or replace the 283ci and lower the rear end about 3-4 inches.
