just like every other hot rod enthusiast, I found an interest in classic cars at a early age. What 4 year old kid does not want a tri-five Chevy or a 32" roadster? these days some kids might want what we laugh or frown at. Like front wheel drive cars with huge ridiculous spoilers and the only modifications done to them are exhaust tips. The term "rat rod" is disturbing as well.Drifting back into the subject about myself. When I turned 18,I got a job as a machinist, saved my money and bought my car, a 1949 Chevy. This is my first custom/hot rod, some may say that it looks just like it did 5 years ago. Like a girlfriend, It has been hard enough to spend time with and keep her around.my intentions are true,I'm not willing to part with this one. I also have a 1992 pro street s-10 and my daily driver is a 1993 ford mustang and I drive it all year long in Wisconsin!a little bit of stupidity, but would a true hot rodder with a budget give any of these up for a winter beater? Through out the years I have been to many awesome car shows and have met some really cool people and good friends in the scene.like Milwaukee's cheaters c.c.,the bloody knuckles c.c.,Bobby bleed and the ace holes inc.(go build a scenester already) -thats a little inside joke,I don't expect you to get that one.but its cool if you do.
