When I retired in 2000 I bought a '35 Ford pickup, tore it down to the frame and had it painted and upholstered. Running gear already in. Great little truck but sold it recently.
Have always liked street rods and have had a '48 Chevy coupe, '40 Ford coupe, '37 Ford tudor slantback, '56 GMC pickup, '30 Ford tudor, '53 GMC pickup, '35 Ford pickup, and currently have a '41 Ford pickup. Not a master mechanic but I get by on tuneups, and general maintenance. Engine rebuilding, body and paint, and upholstery I have left to the professionals. I look forward to being on this forum.
