Awesome...so, an AV8 built post war/pre 1956, could indeed have cross steering and be "era correct'!
If one is building a "Traditional AV8..." what would be the earliest build style one could assume and use a cross steer set up? i.e....
I'm not mad, no progress to be made if one is mad. I called my NAPA with my needs and was told if I had a part number, an example or the year/type...
The item description says "11/16-18".
I would like to go to my local NAPA and purchase a pair of tie rod ends such as used in the Speedway Motors Radius Rod kit....

I am building a '30/31 A-V8 PU. post war push truck style. I would like to keep it "all vintage" to a point!
Would a '34 steering box, (if in good condition) provide adequate steering for an A-V8?
