As a kid growing up in the sixty's I spent many hours building plastic car models. My passion for Ford Hot Rods was gained from the many hours spent modifying those old plastic kits. In the very early seventy's I purchased a 1932 Ford roadster it was actually just a body held on top of the frame with 2 x 4 wood there was no floor or sub rails. At the time I had no idea what a sub rail was. So as time went on I built that roadster teaching myself how to weld and make parts I still have that roadster today.
My wife and I have driven the roadster all over the place including two cross country trips to California there's not much we have not done with that little roadster.
Besides a few deuces we also have a Land Speed Race car built form a WW 2 drop fuel tank from a Navy Bearcat fighter plane. The race car continues to evolve. Now its a very fast rear engine modified roadster having set many records on the Bonneville Salt Flats with Ford flathead power as well as records set with an ARDUN converted Ford flathead block. Our rear engine modified roadster becoming the first ever gas burning Flathead Ford powered roadster to hit 200 MPH. And the first gas burning stock block Ford flathead roadster to run 200 at Bonneville setting a record over 205 MPH in 2021.
