I am 32 years old, married, 3 kids. I am a computer geek by trade (it pays the bills) but I love to work with metal and cars in my spare time. Ive been welding and doing off-road type fabrication for years (rollcages/long travel etc.) Last year I decided that the cost was too much to build and maintain an off-road vehicle so I dumped it and decided to get a 51 shoebox.

The shoebox is currently in progress. Below is a breakdown of what I have done so far and what I have planned for the future.

Done:
3 linked the rear
step notched the rear
bagged the rear
raised the stock gas tank
shaved handles
shaved gas tank door
lowered the front ( astro van springs ) + front drop blocks
chop is in process ( much more work then I thought it would be )

Future plans:
bags in the front,
custom grille
