Turned 59 and still too many unfinished projects. So selling about half of them. But the MARCOS 1600 GT stays, no matter what! Jun 18, 2014

- NA as they are not what they used to be.
First car was a 1947 Chrysler New Yorker with strait 8, second was a 1956 Jaguar XK-140 MC Drop-head, despite owning hundreds of cars I've never had anything I considered a "Hot Rod", but dozens of sports cars, kit cars, and a few muscle cars.
'64 GTO was factory, 64 Ford Galaxy convert with 390 Bird engine was factory, as were several other "muscle cars".
I have built some pretty quick Kit cars, I'm currently restoring an Alfa 2000 powered Marcos 1600 GT.
Looks like I will also be building a "Special" from parts I have laying around.
This should end up pretty HAMB friendly.
High-Perf. 231 Buick V6, Lotus 7 front fenders, Singer 9 rears, MG-TD fuel tank, fabric over framework body.
Should be light, FAST, and even get pretty good mileage.
I've never really cared about 1/4 mile, but I have been accused of speeding up for corners.
I've been around a few road race courses, looking forward to running the Silver State Challenge a couple of times.Interact

At these prices I want my gas 100 octane, leaded, and my windshield washed! - Loading...
