The Jalopy Journal
Shazam! The truck is really coming together nicely. I think that might be a good heigth for an old geezer like me to be able to step into? :D
Green, that might have been some tedious shit, but what a fabulous finished product! I am impressed!
Well I'll be damned if I don't learn something new every day!! You sure had me wondering.
Glad to see you have it up and running! It has to be a great feeling to actually get behind the wheel and put it down the street! I have to ask...
It has been said before by others, but maybe it won't hurt to repeat it that the doors from all the 55-59 trucks are the same (except for COE)....
The door work is for sure a pain in the ass, but you will get it right! Not much on these old trucks seems to come easy... keep up the good work!
Looking good, but where did all the wires go!!
Thanks for the steering adjustment link, that's something that a lot of guys don't know about. A local buddy thought he just HAD to have power...
Congratulations! It sure is starting to look like a truck again! I wish I was this far along, but maybe I can make a bigger dent in things this...
Really coming along nicely!
The second pic (on the right) shock angle looks closer to the what the original angle would have been. I think.
Really nice progress! Great work on the bridge.
