Child of divorced parents, so I spent a lot of time alone. Only toys I could afford were hot wheels. I'm sure that started my car obsession. Loved going to races as a kid and as a teen. Met some guys who raced locally, started helping them back in 1982. They had some bad ass street cars (409 Impala, 427 56 ford, twin turbo corvair, my 65 mustang, big block 66 chevy stepside) and they taught me about racing, cars and life although not necessarily in that order. I've been wrenching/racing ever since.

Dropped out of college (you can always retake a class, but you can never retake a party), joined the work force, started doing custom paint and lettering in the mid-90's for bikes and the minitruck crowd when I lived at the beach and used that money to fund my racing. In 1998 I connected with a girl I met back at college and we started dating and I had an offer to work for Robert Yates racing in NASCAR at the same time. Figured if my job was racing I might end up hating it so I passed on the RYR job and got married, moved north, went back to school and finished.

Play with cars when I can, build my own stuff (engines, trannys, gear sets, chassis, etc... Been racing a long time, and starting to think about hanging up the helmet in favor of street cars only.

The gas pedal fits best right against the floorboard. So I figure it should be there as much as possible
