First car I worked on was my dad's '59 Cadillac. At 16, bought my first car - a 1961 Cadillac Hardtop Sedan. At 21, bought a 1964 Cadillac Sedan. Started restoring my '89 Ford Van in 2007. Bought a 1955 Mercury Monterey Sedan in the spring of 2012 to restore. And a few months later, bought a second one for a parts car. Have been restoring the first Merc with the help of my car club members (Small Town Car Freaks - a reference from the '70s film Two Lane Blacktop).
