Began at 10 yrs old with models and "Custom Cars" magazines (still have some of both); have been in and out of the car hobby for more than 1/2 century since. Always REALLY liked the old customs and hot rods of the mid '50's to mid '60's. Wanna get into an old hot rod while I can. Last summer (2009) I purchased a 27-T, flathead w/3 97's; a car built, I believe, by a H.A.M.B. guy. Fun stuffing these old bones in the bucket and shaking 'em up a bit. Friends ask me "what were you thinking" . . . it's all about "art" and seat-of-the-pants feel (too late for a "mid" life crisis).
