My dad worked at an automotive test lab, and introduced me to cars as a youngster. I was hooked by the time I was 10, and eventually I made automobiles both my hobby and career.
I worked at an automotive test lab for 25 years, doing fuels and lubricants research. I attended my first sanctioned drag race at Masters Field in Miami in 1963, and I was immediately hooked on drags ! I got involved with some other people building street rods and drag racing cars, and we were frequent visitors to Masters Field, Miami Dragway, and the strip at Palm Beach Gardens in the 1960s and early 70s.
