Well I have to give credit to my father and uncle for getting me started with my love of cars! It all started as a youngster hangin out with them in the garage..I used to be the grunt that handed them the tools..Learning all the terms and sizes of the tools..I used to ask about what they were doing and why? They would explain to me what went wrong with the car and what they were gonna do to fix it..I remember at the age of about 8-9yrs old I pulled out a Chiltons book and had my dad break down the theory on how a engine works and the functions of all the components..I used to bug the hell out of them I thought with all my question and such..But they didnt mind it at all, they loved it.They started letting me get my hands dirty and help out here and there..One day they felt that it was my turn to really go at it on my own..I couldnt have been older then 10 when my father and uncle let me tear down the front of a 3.8 and replace the timing gears and chain..To me that was one of the greatest days of my life! Finally one of the guys! My uncle had two boys {my cousins} and they wanted nothing to do with hanging out in the garage..They could never figure out why I wanted to hang with the old men instead of running wild in the neighborhood..Interact
