Before becoming an assistant principal I was a shop teacher. As a baby boomer born in 1946 I remember going to a local drag strip watching the forefathers of today's sports race, build, and design many of the most famous rides of our time. I worked with some friends putting a small block into a '38 chevy. As an adult I restored a Model A Pick Up, put a '65 Mustang drivetrain including engine, trans, and rear in a '39 Ford business coups, built, but didn't complete a '36 Chevy Pick Up, and just retired and purchased a '32 Ford old school street rod and am restoring it.
