I have loved old cars since as far back as I can remember and I've owned a handful of older Chevy's including a '54 chevy 210 post, a '58 short bed stepside apache, a '61 panel truck, and a '66 C10. As is the case with most young men, life eventually got in the way of being a classic car owner and I ended up moving on from each of those for one reason or another. I spent 6 years enlisted in the Army and served in Kosovo in 2001 and Iraq from 2003 to 2004. When my enlistment was up in 2004, I came to Reno for college and never left!

After graduate school, it was time to get back into being a classic car owner again and ended up with the 1937 ford sedan that's my avatar. It fit all of my criteria of being a running, driving project car at a price I couldn't pass up. It has a 1937 flathead v8 and numbers matching transmission. There's quite a bit of work to do to it overall, but it's an absolute joy to own and work on. Thank goodness for the HAMB though because I have needed to learn quite a bit of stuff for this old of a car and this has been an invaluable resource.
