you will need the belhousing and it will fit the stock trans. When I got my 47 it had a 8BA in it.
BUT if you are putting it in place of that...
there are saddle tanks if you are running fenders, and i know there is a 32 style tank that mounts out the rear.
I have 2" and Porters. It's very quiet.
if you're looking for raspy, then go smaller diameter
An A from from Brookville is plenty strong for a street car.
The 32 frame would give you much needed engine room as it has a longer wheelbase.
