Mikes Fabrication

I've been actively involved in anything with wheels since birth.Dad had me in the garage very early,and at his friends shops as well.I grew up around alot of the local guys who were big into customs,drag-racing,etc.. in the Rochester,NY area.It gave me a wide spectrum of things to learn,from paint/body work to metal-working(Dad has been a tin-knocker since 1960).I always enjoyed designing/building stuff instead of buying,and I've built/helped build numerous vehichles from Mini-Sprints,British Motorcycles,Stock-Cars,Street-Cars,4x4 trucks,and Street-Rods.I was a Heavy Truck Mechanic/Fabricator for over 15yrs,then moved into Light-Duty Work-Trucks,doing alot of Snowplow work,custom lighting,accessories,and Fabrication,which I still do daily.I have Twin Boys(7yrs)and they are just as interested in how things work as I am,so in the past few years,I've worked harder,and planned alot for us.My personal shop is currently in the final construction-stages(floor soon),and I'm going to start building/updating some Street-Rods for people I know,something i've always enjoyed,and got away from for a few years,as life can make happen.I've got some pretty cool projects lined up for this fall/winter,hopefully more follow,along with doing my own projects,and My Dads' 40-Ford Coupe,which will be my largest and most involved build yet(its a mess thanks to the last owner).I hope to be able to help as much as possible,and learn alot as well here.
