I grew up in the Mountains of Montana with a wing-nut father who was living off the land and couldn't let go of the Depression Era tendencies of saving junk and reusing old things....gave me good experiences (not to mention lots of stories) and a taste for things vintage. I haven't really made anything hot or custom, but really like car project people are tackling. I find that the custom guys have great knowledge for adapting cars to fit a more modern driving experience.
