Super nice 1956, 1957, and 1958 Chevys while in HS 1960-1964. Attended first drag race after graduation from HS in 1964. Drag Racer,. 1965-67 E/G '40 Chev, 1968-71 AA/G '33 Willys, (US Army 1971-1973 - NHRA eliminates class AA/G), 1974-77 AA/Alcohol Dragster, 1992-2003 AA/G (AA/S) '34 Willys nostagia blown alchohol racing. Won Indy summer of 1995 setting NHRA/VRA national records for both ET and speed (years later retired after not being exceeded). First legal (NHRA, Goodguys-VRA) AA/G (alchohol) to exceed 170, 180, and 190 mph (1994-1997). First AA Nostalgia Willys to use Brad Anderson (BAE) blown alcohol hemi in 1997 (still the standard for the vast majority of competative AA cars). Raced as Bryson & Sons (red with flames '34 Willys) mainly on the West Coast with the AA Supercharged Association (and it's predecessor AA/Gasser Assoc.), NHRA Nostalgia races, and Goddguys VRA Nostagia Series races. Also raced Indy (95 & 96), Denver (World Gasser Chanpionship 1993), Salt Lake City, Tucson, Phoenix, and Las Vegas. Retired and sold car to Johny Wood (Merced, CA 2004). Many car shows over the years, always with 1st Place Awards. (Now sailing '46 boat in Mexcico headed for the South Pacific and beyound with summers in Oregon occasionally driving '59 Vette resto-rod and '57 Chevy.)
