It's bigger than 3/8's and less that 1/2. So I'm guessing 7/16, maybe 20np or 24np
It looks like that "nut" is soldered in place. Just looked at numbers and it's a harrison radiator and made for GM. So original? 3R special....
I think I have it all out. Looks like crap I know, but I haven't figured out where to get a new radiator yet.
I pulled the radiator out about a week ago because it was dumping water. Come to find out that the petcock that was in there, pretty much rotted...

I guess I could do that. Just would cost for new shackles, as I doubt they will come out easily after 58 years.
What happens if I just reverse the ones that are there and move them under instead of over?
