I was born in 1958 in Glendale California... lived in southern California for my first 12 years, and have been drawn to cars for as long as I can remember. Moved to Memphis at age 12 and still live here. Attended my first drag race in Memphis at Lakeland International Raceway, and attended the 2nd ever Street Rod Nationals that same summer in Memphis. That pretty much made me take the leap from interested to obsessed. I've been to an endless list of events since, I photograph everything on wheels, and after some used up Camaros & Mustangs, I finally scored a vintage 55 Chevy as my endless project car. I'm currently maintaining some web sites for area car clubs and the like. I've been reading the Jalopy Journal for years, and visit the HAMB with frequency. I've been getting out of town for some road trip car events lately, so it felt like it might be a good time to sign up and share the experiences.
