bought my first car when i was 13,(1962), a 34 ford 2-dor sedan. had a 40 std, and a 57 chev in high school. drafted 1968 out in 70, wife, kids, etc. owned kcmetal strippers from 75 til 1980, did a million cars, punched louvers, etc. out of cars for a while, got back into cars in1989, built a track nosed 27 roadster on 32 rails, halibrand q.c. 4-banger, 4-speed, ( sold it to Santa Clause in Minn.) it's still running around up there, has a flathead and 32 shell on it, now. built a 47 IHC truck, drove it every day for 8 years. built a 39 ford std coupe, put 78,000 mi. on it in 8 years, bonniville once, east coast, north and south carolina, twice, and many points inbetween. built a glass 32 rdstr. , did 3000 mi. in 3 months, sold it, sold my coupe, and started on my 33. had to have something to drive, so, i borrowed my sons 62 comet, put in a small-block ford, must 2 front end ,etc, etc, and am driving it while i finish the 33.
i've been into cars a long time, never much money, mostly primer, etc. don't like the mega-money stuff, but, some of the primer stuff is a little rougher than i like, too.
