I'm Prez of the Ct. Chapter of the Kropdusters under construction I'm 52 been into mechanics since age 10 when my new step dad dragged home a model A cut down truck for me to mess with. At 17 he and I went stock car racing together for 1 season chased a lot of 327 chevies with a 292 ford realy.got about 500 car related books on a bunch of different subjects from racing to restoring .I'm employed as a welder/fabricator and have also worked as an entry level machineist in a couple of shops I have been employed mostly as a welder since 1973 i quit 5 years as an full time auto tech to weld for United aircraft still worked garages weekends and nights another 10 years I have also been doing blacksmithing for 15 years working weekends in a museum setting plus doing historic re-enacting of the revolutionary war to the early 1900s I have dyslexia and a couple other minor learning disabilities so my typing and punctuation suck
